STAFF at the Co-operative Bank in Skelmersdale have raised £2,000 and donated 85 Easter eggs to Twinkle House in Skelmersdale.
The money was raised over the last few months by staff running a number of events.
Co-op employee, Bev Hayman, said: “We all pushed together and it was a fantastic achievement to raise so much. Thanks to everyone for their support.
“We picked Twinkle House as they are a local charity and some of our colleagues have children who use it.”
Jill Boardman, chief executive of Twinkle House commented: “The donation will be used to purchase much-needed items from our Wish List.
“On behalf of everyone at Twinkle House, I would like to say well done and thank-you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who contributed. You did an amazing job raising the funds and donating Easter Eggs that will make a massive difference to people in our local community. ”
