The best sporting events in the UK this spring

NOT only has spring sprung some glorious weather to the UK so far, but there is also a plethora of great sporting action to look forward to.
Here is a look at the pick of the action over the next couple of months.

Grand National – Saturday, 8^th April

The Grand National is the most famous horse race anywhere in the world. You don’t need to be an expert on the sport or on betting to have a punt and enjoy the unique contest. Definitely Red currently heads the market for the Aintree contest this year at 10/1 with bookmakers including William Hill if you are looking to bet on Grand National 2017 ahead of Saturday. He is likely to be popular with supporters of Liverpool and Manchester United, who will see the horse as the perfect name for them. Brian Ellison’s runner was successful recently at Doncaster in the Grimthorpe Chase over 3m2f. Other horses who sit near the top of the betting and have been widely tipped up to run well are Vieux Lion Rouge, One for Arthur and Blaklion.
